Why Won’t Santa Visit Poor Children?. Why Won’t Santa Visit Poor Children? A simple question asked by an innocent 7 year old girl in November 2004.
That question led to an amazing sequence of events……the like of which no other child but Di can ever experience. Santa Claus lived in a wonderland in the snow and ice of Lapland. Di lived in poverty, in a hut on the edge of a Palawan tropical rainforest in the Philippines. What would bond Di and Santa Claus, from such different worlds?
It was the art of giving….
Giving from the heart……
Giving without expectation of something in return.
It was true generosity.
